As we welcome in the month of April try out this fun spring pattern activity! For this activity all you need is scissors and glue. First cut out the bottom pictures and then have your child complete each pattern and have them glue it in the right spot. Pattern projects are really good for cognitive development. Patterns help children learn sequence and how to make predictions, which helps them later when they start to learn about math. This also engages fine motor skills as your child glues on each picture.
This activity can be adapted to children of any age.
