Director's Message
Thank you so much for participating in our Hall-oween event. It was so much fun to see all the children and some parents dressed up. Thank you also to Ms. Rosa for her creative decorations which made the event spooktacular! October is my favorite time of year and it was so much fun being together to celebrate.
Program Highlights
Engagement Activities
In November, we'll dive into the world of music, exploring sounds, rhythms, and even creating our own instruments! We'll also learn about planting, the harvest season, and the importance of gratitude for all we have. And, of course, turkeys will be making plenty of festive appearances!
Professional Development
On October 14, we dedicated the day to reviewing our pre-year training, focusing on how best to use tools like 1Core and phones with cameras to enhance family communication and enrich our curriculum. Teachers also began working on child portfolios in preparation for the upcoming conferences on January 17. Our next staff meeting will be on November 27 in the afternoon, a minimum day.

Reminders
November 11 Closed for Veteran’s Day
November 20 Friendsgiving Potluck 11:15 am-12:30 pm
November 25-26 are regular school days, but we ask that you sign up if your child will attend, as many families may be traveling.
November 27 is a sign-up day as well, but please note it’s a minimum day, and we will close at 1 pm for the long holiday weekend.
The form to sign up will be sent out in early November.

Looking Ahead
We’re thrilled to invite you to our Friendsgiving Feast on Wednesday, November 20, at 11:15 a.m.! Sign-up sheets will be available soon so we can enjoy a wonderful variety of dishes. Happy Hall will provide the turkey, and we’d love for you to bring a dish to share. If you’re preparing a homemade recipe, we’d be delighted to include it in a special Happy Hall cookbook to send home before Thanksgiving! Let’s make it a memorable lunchtime together.
