Director's Message
Hello March!
I'd like to extend a big thank you to all the families for sharing and supporting our Lunar New Year/Valentine’s Potluck! It was heartwarming to see the children enjoying delicious food and engaging in social interactions. Witnessing their joy as they shared meals with friends and families was truly special.
We're excited about hosting another event soon and look forward to your continued participation and support.
Program Highlights
Engagement Activities
This month's themes will focus on Ocean & Marine Life, as well as Inventions & Inventors. Children will dive into the fascinating world of the ocean ecosystem, exploring its wonders, and learn about major inventors who have shaped history with their innovative creations. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to exercise their own creativity by inventing new things.
In our Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) discussions, we will cover the transition to spring weather, the adjustment to daylight savings time, and celebrate occasions such as St. Patrick's Day and Women’s History Month. These discussions will provide valuable insights and foster a deeper understanding of various topics relevant to our lives and society.
Professional Development
Last month, I had the privilege of attending the CAN Symposium in Fresno, where I gained valuable insights into nurturing a growth mindset, effective leadership strategies, innovative approaches to supporting families, amplifying student voices, and engaged in networking with colleagues.
Looking ahead, next month our staff will participate in professional development sessions focused on child guidance, group management, and preparations for the upcoming summer camp. These opportunities will further enhance our skills and ensure we provide the best possible support and experiences for our children and families.
Community Events
We're eagerly looking forward to welcoming your child to our Spring Camp from April 1st to April 5th, 2024. It's always a joy for us to witness the children fully engaged in the planned activities, enjoying their time outdoors, and building cherished memories with friends beyond the regular school hours. We can't wait to create unforgettable experiences together during this special camp session!

Looking Ahead
With heartfelt gratitude, I must inform you that Ms. Julia will be moving forward on her journey to become an elementary school teacher. While we are saddened by her departure, we are also excited to support her as she embarks on this new chapter. We have every confidence that she will continue to shine in her work with children and families.
Stepping into Ms. Julia's role as our other Group 1 teacher alongside Mr. Jaden, we warmly welcome Ms. Leah. We believe her transition will be seamless, ensuring continued support and a nurturing environment for the children.
Should you have any questions or concerns during this transition, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. Your understanding and support are greatly appreciated as we navigate these changes together.
