Director's Message

Hello Happy Hall families,

Welcome to April! Spring is in full bloom, and with it comes a season of renewal, joy, and fresh discoveries. We’re excited to embrace the month ahead with colorful activities, Easter celebrations, and continued hands-on learning.

April gives us a chance to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, dive into creative projects, and continue building meaningful connections in our after-school community. Let’s make this month as bright and joyful as a spring morning.

Program Highlights

Engagement Activities:

Springtime Adventures & Easter Fun

This month’s curriculum theme is “Spring Surprises and Nature’s Wonders” — a perfect way to explore seasonal changes and holiday fun. In addition to our spring-themed projects, students will take part in exciting Easter egg activities and joyful challenges, including:

• Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt Students will search high and low for colorful eggs hidden throughout the classroom and play areas—each with a surprise inside.

• Easter Egg Relay In this fast-paced game, students will carefully balance plastic eggs on spoons as they race through a fun obstacle course—no dropping allowed.

• Jelly Bean Estimation Jar A sweet math challenge: guess how many jelly beans are in the jar for a fun prize.

• Spring Garden Planting Back by popular demand! We’ll be planting herbs and spring blooms, learning about growth, and taking care of our mini gardens.

• Bunny Hop Relay A silly and active obstacle course where students hop like bunnies to collect eggs and deliver them to their baskets.

  
  

These fun, themed activities are designed to bring smiles, spark creativity, and foster teamwork as we celebrate all that April has to offer.

Student Achievements

We are proud to announce our Student of the Month for March, Laylah Rae! Laylah has been awarded the “Curiosity Award” for her eagerness to ask questions, explore new concepts, and dive into every activity with energy and passion. Keep it up, Laylah!
