Let's seize this moment to honor and celebrate love and kindness. Additionally, this month offers us the chance to extend warm greetings for a prosperous Lunar New Year to those who celebrate. Engagement Activities
This month, we've begun an exhilarating worldwide adventure, uncovering natural wonders! Our students from 2nd to 5th grade have been thoroughly engaged in crafting their interpretations of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and painting vibrant coral reefs with watercolors. Meanwhile, our TK through 1st graders delved into the mysteries of the pyramids of Giza before constructing their very own replicas using sugar cubes.
Professional Development
This month, our Directors are excited to participate in a School Age Symposium, dedicated to exploring engaging strategies designed specifically for school-age children. The event offers valuable chances for team-building among our program leaders. We are eager to seize this opportunity to enhance our techniques that meet the requirements of school-age children and to foster teamwork and leadership skills throughout all our programs.
Community Events
We're thrilled to embrace the festivities of both Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day this month! Lunar New Year brings a vibrant tapestry of cultural traditions. It's a time for renewal, reflection, and the exchange of well wishes for prosperity and happiness for the coming year. Valentine's Day offers a charming opportunity to express affection and appreciation for the special people in our lives. We celebrate love in all its forms, strengthening bonds and creating cherished memories.
These two celebrations, each with its own unique significance, add layers of joy and warmth to the month, reminding us to cherish cultural heritage and the power of love in connecting us all.
