Director's Message
April is here, bringing longer days, blooming flowers, and that unmistakable feeling of spring in the air. With the sun shining brighter and the outdoors calling our names, it’s the ideal time to soak up some fresh air and enjoy nature’s beauty. Whether it’s playing outside, planting something new, or simply enjoying a walk under blue skies, let’s take advantage of everything this wonderful season has to offer. Here’s to a joyful and active spring together!
Program Highlights
Engagement Activities
This month, our school-age engagement activities are buzzing with excitement as we dive into themes like Sports Science, Bug Exploration, Insect Habitats, and Self-Reflection. Students will take part in a variety of hands-on experiences designed to spark curiosity and encourage teamwork. Our SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) games will promote
communication and problem-solving, while movement activities will get everyone up and active with fun, high-energy games. STEAM projects will inspire creativity and critical thinking through art, science, and design challenges. We’re looking forward to a month full of discovery, connection, and plenty of springtime fun!
This month in preschool, we’re hopping into spring with lots of fun and learning! Our little learners will explore seasonal themes like bunnies, colorful eggs, blooming flowers, and April showers. We'll also be focusing on the letters U, R, and S through playful activities and hands-on learning. The fun doesn’t stop there—children will enjoy engaging art projects, sensory experiences, and plenty of outdoor play as we celebrate the beauty of spring. It’s going to be a joyful and exciting month full of discovery and creativity!
Professional Development
This month has been full of growth and preparation as we gear up for the seasons ahead. Our Admin Team recently took part in a three-day training focused on leadership, collaboration, and innovative planning—an inspiring experience that strengthened our shared vision and connection. On April 21st, our Preschool and School-Age teams will have an In-Service Day dedicated to spring cleaning and reorganizing our spaces to create fresh, inviting environments for our children. Then, on April 25th, we’ll host a Summer Staff Development Day focused on camp readiness and safety—a great opportunity to train new team members and refresh returning staff. We’re excited for what’s ahead!
Student Achievements
Our preschoolers have been working hard and making great progress with their life skills! We’re excited to share that they’re almost finished with the second half of their Life Skills Rainbow—once completed, they’ll celebrate with another fun movie and treat party. Group 1 has already filled their Life Skills Jar and enjoyed a well-earned cookie party—they’re now working on filling it up again! Groups 2 and 3 are staying focused and earning tickets toward our exciting Treasure Box Raffle. We’re so proud of all their effort and teamwork!
