Director's Message
Hello Happy Hall families,
Welcome to May! With flowers blooming and sunshine stretching longer into our days, we’re celebrating the beauty of the season—and the amazing people who help us grow. This month brings continued outdoor fun, creative learning, and a very special opportunity to honor the mothers, grandmothers, and caregivers in our lives.
We’re excited for all the meaningful moments and joyful connections ahead. Let’s make May a month full of love, growth, and sunshine!
Program Highlights
Engagement Activities:
This month’s curriculum theme is “Blossoms, Bonds, and Bright Skies” — a celebration of growth, gratitude, and springtime beauty. In addition to garden care and outdoor activities, students will take part in heartfelt, seasonal experiences, including:
Craft Corner Students will create handmade cards and thoughtful gifts to celebrate their moms, grandmas, and caregivers.
Spring Garden Care We’ll continue tending to our mini gardens, observing new growth, and learning about plant life cycles.
Butterfly Life Cycle Discovery Our science spotlight this month focuses on the fascinating journey from caterpillar to butterfly—with real-time observations in our classroom!
Sunshine Scavenger Hunt A fun-filled nature walk with a checklist of spring sights, sounds, and treasures to discover around the play area.
These activities encourage gratitude, creativity, and discovery—all while celebrating the wonderful bonds between children and their caregivers. 💛
