Happy New Year Happy Hall families! We hope you had a wonderful holiday season and are starting the new year with excitement and anticipation. We are looking forward to learning together in 2025.
Program Highlights
Engagement Activities
In December, we had so much fun focusing on winter and the holidays! Our little ones practiced their fine motor skills while creating holiday-themed art, and we loved hearing about everyone’s family traditions and what they were excited about for the break.
There was also lots of singing, and we enjoyed sharing stories together. It was a wonderful month full of joy and creativity!
Professional Development
Before the break, we had a great staff meeting to prepare for the upcoming parent-teacher conferences and to finalize your child’s portfolio. We are excited to share the portfolios with you, and they will be ready by January 16.
I can’t wait for you to see all the wonderful documentation, pictures, and goals we’ve been working on. It’s going to be so fun to share your child’s progress with you!
Community Events
We are excited to meet with you and discuss your child’s progress at the upcoming conferences on January 17. Please use the Calendly links below to sign up for a time slot with your child’s classroom teacher.
If the available times don’t work for you, no worries! Just let us know, and we can arrange a time between January 21-24 that fits everyone’s schedule.
The conferences will be held via Google Meet, so there’s no need to travel. Just be sure you have consistent internet access. You will receive the meeting invitation by January 16.
We can’t wait to connect and share how well your child is doing! Please note that school is closed this day so that our teachers can focus on meeting with you.

Reminders
We are a nut-aware center. Please ensure that lunches do not include peanut butter or any nuts. Sunbutter is acceptable, but please label it clearly to avoid any confusion.

Looking Ahead
In January, we will be exploring a bit of U.S. History, focusing on Martin Luther King Jr. and the Presidents of the United States. We will also dive into money, learning about the different bills and coins, which presidents are featured on each piece of currency, and practicing paying with cash and making change. Additionally, we will continue our work on letters and their sounds.
