Happy New Year and welcome to January from all of us at Happy Hall! We’re excited to kick off 2025 with fresh energy and a variety of fun, engaging activities designed to inspire learning, creativity, and growth. Thank you for trusting us to be a part of your child’s after-school journey—we look forward to making this month unforgettable and a great start to the new year!
Program Highlights
Engagement Activities
At the start of January, we will finish our theme on Oceans & Marine Life. In the coming weeks, we will introduce a new theme in our curriculum: Inventions & Inventors. Students will engage in STEAM activities that explore groundbreaking innovations and their inventors throughout history. This theme fosters critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving by examining the processes and motivations behind key inventions.
Community Events
We were excited to see families at our Happy Hall-iday Party and hope everyone had a wonderful time. It was a pleasure to see so many of you come together. We look forward to organizing more events in the future, offering even more chances for Happy Hall families to connect and enjoy each other's company.
Reminders
Please remind students that toys, collectibles, and other personal items from home shouldn’t be brought to Happy Hall, as we cannot be held responsible for any lost, broken, or stolen items.
Our lost and found collection is growing! Please come by to check if your child is missing a jacket or a water bottle.
If your child will be absent from Happy Hall, please inform us via text, email, or through 1Core.
Looking Ahead
In the following month, we will embark on an exciting journey through time with our STEAM curriculum. Students will have the opportunity to take part in activities from the past that used to be trendy.
Alongside our time-travel adventure in STEAM, we will also focus on promoting the importance of maintaining healthy hearts, both physically and emotionally. Our activities will encourage students to adopt positive habits and mindsets that foster overall well-being.
