Hello, Families!
I hope you are all enjoying the start of the Winter Season! We hope you had some quality time with family and friends over the November Break.
Program Highlights
Engagement Activities
This month, we are focusing on Theme 5, "Weather & Seasons." This week's unit will teach children about the understanding of weather patterns, climatic phenomena, and the change of seasons, wind velocity, and movement. Some of the STEAM activities will include creating paper twirlers, pinwheels, and kites. We are also playing engaging movement games like Giants, Elves & Wizards, Switch & End Zones. During our SEL time, we are focusing on life skills, patience, and flexibility as we practice and learn our holiday songs.
Professional Development
Last month, our staff had the opportunity to attend a STEAM workshop to learn more about coding and robotics! The curriculum is ever-changing throughout the years, and it is great to have these opportunities to learn new ways of engaging children's minds.
Community Events
Annual Holiday Event
Tuesday, Dec 19, 4:00 - 6:00 pm Meadows MUR (Multi-Use Room)
We invite you to enjoy a few songs performed by your students, photo opportunities, games, and, of course, some yummy cookies! We are excited to have an in-person event this year. See you all there!
Reminders
