Director's Message

Happy April, Happy Hall Spring Valley Families! I hope you all had a fantastic spring break and are feeling refreshed for an exciting new month. I want to give a big shout-out to our students for diving into March’s Olympic Competitors theme and embracing the challenges of Mystery Investigation with such curiosity and creativity.

April brings even more opportunities for discovery as we explore our new curriculum theme. I can’t wait to see how our students grow, learn, and shine this month!

Program Highlights

Engagement Activities

At the beginning of April, we wrapped up our Olympic Competitors theme, where students explored the history of the Olympic Games and the science behind sports. They learned how elements like motion, speed, and energy contribute to athletic performance.

This month, we are diving into a new theme: Insect Investigation. This unit invites students to explore the fascinating world of bugs through observation and scientific discovery. It focuses on insect habitats, life cycles, and unique adaptations—while encouraging students to develop an appreciation for these tiny yet essential creatures in our ecosystems.

Community Events

We’re excited to announce the Happy Hall Summer Send-Off Potluck & Carnival on Wednesday, May 28th at Spring Valley Elementary! Flyers are being sent home, and emails with further details are also being shared—please be sure to RSVP.

We can’t wait to celebrate the tremendous achievements all of our students have made this year. It will be a fun-filled afternoon of games, food, and community connection as we wrap up an amazing school year together!

This month, we’re celebrating the incredible efforts and achievements of all our students! Each one has demonstrated dedication, teamwork, and growth in their own unique ways—whether it’s mastering new skills, contributing to group projects, or embracing new challenges.

We are so proud of the progress each student has made and look forward to seeing them continue to shine next year!

If your child will not be attending Happy Hall for any reason, please notify us in advance via text, email, or the 1Core app.

This helps us ensure both the safety of all students and the smooth coordination of our daily activities.

Looking Ahead

Next month, we will introduce the final theme of our curriculum: Celebration. This theme serves as a joyous conclusion to the learning journey, allowing students to reflect on their achievements and growth. It nurtures a sense of accomplishment and celebrates the progress they’ve made, creating a meaningful wrap-up to an incredible school year..
